Hi guys all right? Today there’s a post in real time! I’m in Istanbul for the IMWF (International MICE & Wedding Forum) , an event I’ve been participating in for years and that those who follow me here on the blog have seen me in several editions around the world. It has all of them on the blog, just search for the acronym IMWF. The event hasn’t started yet, but as the wonderful hotel The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul invited me for a pre-event season here, I couldn’t help but register everything I’m living in this paradise for destination wedding .

The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul occupies the first 12 floors of the iconic Suzer Plaza building . The panoramic view of the Bosphorus is breathtaking and I’ve been lost for several moments with the beautiful landscape, which has the historic city center as a backdrop.
The hotel underwent a recent renovation, in 2018, which is why you can see so much detail in the photos in this post. On my Instagram (@aondecasar) you can see more in real time. In the renovation, the main point was to maintain this duality of the concept, so we have contemporary architecture, with international design, but without neglecting Turkish touches, which give the property its charm.
At the Ritz-Calrton, Istanbul, newlyweds will find 243 rooms of different formats and categories , which is good when we have guests of different profiles (families, couples, young people…). And how could it be otherwise, the premium service of the Ritz-Calrton network is present. All employees, including the events team, are always very available and ready to solve any desire and difficulty – including making the exchange of their visitors.
The hotel’s spa is a show in itself. The famous Turkish massages and oriental treatments included in the menu cannot be left out on the day of the bride, groom and guests. Plan a relaxing afternoon with your godparents and family, you won’t regret it. And speaking of the itinerary of the trip, the famous Blue Mosque of Istanbul is 15 minutes from the hotel, and is worth a visit.
As for pre- and post-wedding and wedding events , the Ritz-Carlton has several facilities: from cozy cafes and bars to pool parties by the pool and lounges measuring up to 2400 square meters.
