And as you asked me in the question box that opens on Instagram (if you still don’t follow me, click here @aondecasar ), today I’m going to talk about how much it costs to get married in Portugal , one of my favorite destinations and that I’ve talked about a lot here on the blog .
Before getting into the values, I think it’s important to remember the advantages of a destination wedding in Portugal . First, the language. As you will have guests of all types, the fact that Portuguese is the language of Portugal is a point that I find incredible . Your guests will have complete freedom. Second, the culture. Due to the history we have with the country, it is a fact that we feel at home in Lusitanian lands. And, finally, the dimensions of Portugal. Because it’s so small, I think it’s a mega advantage. You can organize, in the same weekend, different activities in different places. You can do a pre-wedding on the beach, a day in Lisbon… The sky is the limit!
To talk about values, I chose one of my favorite places for weddings, where I have already organized beautiful celebrations, like this elopement wedding in the photos in this post. Located on the slopes of Serra de Sintra, Palácio de Seteais is one of Portugal’s postcards. Everyone takes pictures at the famous Palace portal. It’s really stunning. And as the light changes throughout the day, it gets even more beautiful. Speaking of weddings at Palácio de Seteais, the hotel offers a choice of three halls decorated with frescoes and with a capacity for 200 people, or gardens with labyrinths of shrubs (in the palatial style of the 18th century), flowers and lemon trees, for holding ceremonies. . Now if you want to do something smaller, another option available is the restaurant, with a beautiful view of the vegetation of the mountains, where chef Hélder Damião serves menus of his own.

For a wedding of 30 people in 2022, with a daily rate of 30 rooms and breakfast included, the value is 32 thousand euros. This price includes:
- 30 rooms with breakfast included (all rooms in the Hotel)
- All rooms, gardens and facilities in the Palace
- Service until the end of the event
- Permission for the party to end at 3:00 am (very hard to find in Europe)
