When I sat down to write today’s post, I was shocked that we are already in the middle of January, and that it’s been a while since I returned from my trip (which I will tell here). My last two posts were about the destination wedding of dear Thayane and Leandro in Italy and the new office of Aonde Casar there. But today I wanted to tell you a little bit about how it all happened.

One day I was at my house in Rio de Janeiro, and I started thinking, “Gosh, it’s a beautiful and interesting place in Italy and France. I need to deepen better to choose the best ones. ” I’m terrified to thwart some bride with the wedding venue. And not because the place is bad, because I don’t have bad choices on my website, but because it wasn’t the perfect setting for her. And believe me, there are perfect scenarios for all sorts of grooms. And it was at the time that a very special invitation arose, that I gathered my things and there I went for two long, tirer and equally pleasant months of much study.
The trip started by Buy Wedding, a super cool event for the wedding market that takes place in Bologna. They invited me as a Brazilian buyer. It was very tasty, I met amazing people, like the amazing decorator Ângelo Garini, interesting places and destinations for destination wedding and a little more of the Italian culture and tradition at weddings.
From there I went to Lago di Como, where I performed technical visits in the hotels Il Sereno, Villa Pliniana and Grand Hotel Tremezzo, with which I have partnered and will speak soon here on the site. One more special than another and all very different. I am delighted with the rich variety of spaces and services that Italy has. It was there also that I performed the beautiful destination wedding of Thayane and Leandro, in the Villa del Balbianello. I met so many good people there, I opened the office of Where to get Married (I count everything in this post do not fail to read!)

Wedding performed, time to pack, but not to return to Brazil. Here began my FAM TOUR through Verona and Florence , two other destinations that I was even more in love with. A trip with a group of fantastic professionals. I’ll make a post just talking about these regions, worth every square meter. My last Italian stop was in Milan , where I already had some meetings scheduled.
Arrivederci Italy, bonjour France! My destination now was the French Riviera and Paris , two other destinations that I really wanted to deepen and that are, for me, the right destinations and prepared to receive Brazilian weddings. And when I speak prepared, it’s really prepared. Brazilian has another mood of marriage. Making celebrations for us is difficult, we are very demanding!
And so I ended my journey of hard work and pleasure. I made sure to tell you all here, because I really believe that destination wedding is no joke, it’s not just choosing a castle in Tuscany that everything will be beautiful. Destination wedding is a serious thing and if you don’t have a prepared professional by your side, the frustration can be very great. And this is my biggest fear, frustrating people. I already have many contacts, but knowledge is never too much. I make a point of traveling, visiting all the spaces in person, clearing all doubts and knowing the soul of each destination. As I said, they are beautiful places, but of different souls, special for different types of grooms.
