And our stop today is in the heart of São Conrado, where is located the hotel Gran Meliá Nacional, one of my favorites for a destination wedding in Rio de Janeiro. Next to my dear friend Froonck, I made a complete inspection site for the property.

Designed by Oscar Niemeyer, the super iconic building has been listed by the World Heritage River, and today it is fully revitalized. The Meliá has as its neighbours the Gávea Golf Club and the shopping mall Fashion Mall, which is always a welcome when we have guests from outside. And, of course, the most amazing mountains of the marvelous city, the two brothers Hill, the Pedra da Gávea and the Pedra Bonita. That is, breathtaking view from every corner of the hotel. And as we are talking about destination wedding, an attraction that I find very interesting of the Gran Meliá is the easy access to the most famous and trendy beaches of the city, such as Ipanema, Leblon and Copabacana.
Speaking of the accommodations, the Gran Meliá follows one of the requirements when I become a partner of a hotel: the democratic character of the rooms, which allows to receive all the guests of the bride and groom, whether for financial reasons or large families and who need Connecting rooms. As he is all reformed, he gains the resort character within a city. Swimming pool and gym facing the sea, SPA by Clarins (brand I adore), saunas, garden Burle Marx, private Balinese, among other top quality services that are worthwhile make the trip very special.

Thinking now at the party, I joke that whatever the décor chosen by the bride and groom, the result will be MA-RA-VI-O-SO! At any of the points you choose for the ceremony or party, one of the four beautiful mountains will be the backdrop. Amazing, huh?
And when it comes to gastronomy, you are mistaken who thinks that hotel food is all the same, the Gran Meliá has delicious restaurants with signature of renowned chefs. The mermaid, for example, brings a Mediterranean seasoning which is a good choice for the wedding dinner. The Amaro and Bardot bars become the perfect setting for pre-and post-wedding.
The cool is also to say that the grooms who choose the hotel for the destination wedding earn super cool discounts for the wedding night and honeymoon.
