Brides, calm down! I’ve been getting several messages from brides worried about the new scenario, about a possible new closing, about the rise in foreign currencies… I know there’s a lot to be worried about, but I promise it’s not worth the stress. The new scenario is indeed worrying, but we are seeing that vaccination is efficient and that the new variant is mild in more than 90% of cases (with 10%, according to WHO, in unvaccinated people). About a new closing, I believe it will not happen . I have talked to many tourism representatives, both from the government and from agencies, and they are all categorical that tourism will not stop, precisely because of the weakness of the new strain. Finally, the rise in foreign currencies. Here, yes, I have to be honest that it’s the only point that worries me. Whoever decides for an elopement or mini wedding , I still say that choosing a paradise destination outside Brazil is a great option. FERNANDO DE NORONHA (PERNAMBUCO)
Brazil has many, many beautiful places to say “yes”. Trancoso is a delight, Búzios, Cabo Frio and Angra dos Reis are awesome, but for me, a unique place with a unique view for an elopement wedding is Fernando de Noronha. The archipelago is truly magical, and any of the views are simply breathtaking. If the idea is really a ceremony for two, without anyone else, Noronha will be unforgettable.
TRANCOSO (BAHIA)
Trancoso is a charming place, and one of the paradises for destination weddings . The energy, the festive atmosphere, the great holiday parties that inspire many requests and the complete infrastructure make the destination a paradise for couples who want a complete multi-day party experience. Trancoso is the right and lively stop! Trancoso, at the moment, has only one problem: schedule. With rescheduling and high demand, the trendy destination has few dates. It’s worth running if you want to get married there.
MILAGRES (ALAGOAS)
The Capela dos Milagres, on Marceneiro Beach, is one of the highlights of São Miguel dos Milagres, in Alagoas. Weddings there are around 120 guests, but the party can go further. And here, the rule is foot in the sand! The city has good and valuable suppliers, but some things I recommend taking from other destinations, such as Trancoso and Rio.
RIO DE JANEIRO
I’ve already said so much about this one, that I’m even embarrassed. My Marvelous City is amazing for destination. It is the ideal mix for those who want natural paradises, a lively trip with friends and family, but all this without leaving out the infrastructure of a big city. Trust me, choosing Rio is success!
NORTH COAST OF SÃO PAULO
The North Coast of São Paulo follows the same pattern as Trancoso: excellent infrastructure and good professionals. The couple from São Paulo who dream of getting married on the beach can go to Ilhabela, São Sebastião, Juquehy, Maresias… All are complete and charming destinations for the “yes”.
