Hi guys all right? I loved the comments on the last post! Organizing beautiful destination weddings is my greatest pleasure, and knowing that you liked it is a recognition that I love. Today’s post is not exactly a celebration, but it is also a way of telling you that I am increasingly looking for good professionals and partners to make the dream of those who want to get married outside of Brazil come true. Between April 14th and 19th, 2024, I had the privilege of participating in the B-Treat Campania for Weddings 2024 event , organized by Wema Global, in Italy. This event was a gathering not only for the wedding sector, but also for the rich culture and beauty of the Campania region. Here, a summary of the program and the most memorable moments of this unforgettable experience.
Day 1: Arrival and Opening Ceremony at Villa Fattorusso in Naples
Our journey began on April 14th, with our arrival in Naples. After disembarking, we took a tour of the city, where we visited historical sites. The city, with its unique mix of ancient and modern, is enchanting. The night surprised us with the Grand Opening Ceremony at Villa Fattorusso, a magnificent event that gave a neat spoiler of what was to come in the following days. The dress code for the event was: Being Italian for one night!
Days 2 and 3: Sorrento Wedding Conference, B2B and special dinners
The next two days saw the wedding conference at VRASA, an amazing restaurant and cocktail bar in Sorrento. During the third day, I participated in masterclasses and B2B meetings at the Museo Correale di Terranova and a delicious lunch at the Hotel Royal that provided in-depth and enriching learning about the latest trends and practices in the wedding sector in Italy. The nights were like this: on the second night, we had a delicious aperitif and dinner at the Maya Beach Club, a super charming place with a hotel to welcome guests; and on the third, we had enriching meetings with aperitifs at Villa Zagara. Finally, an elegant gala dinner, where awards were also held, at the Grand Hotel Aminta.
Day 4: Free Time and Experiences in Sorrento
April 17th was dedicated to leisure and exploring Sorrento. I took the opportunity to learn more about the city, enjoy its cuisine and landscapes that make for beautiful photos of the bride and groom. In the afternoon, I attended a “Limoncello” themed cocktail at Villa Eliana, followed by dinner at Cafe Latino. A great experience idea for couples to do with their guests pre-wedding, combining local cuisine with Italian hospitality.
Days 5 and 6: Inspections, Spa Treatments and Grand Finale at Sannio & Telese
On April 18th and 19th, the focus was on experiences and spa treatments at Aqua Petra, in Telese, (which cannot be missed at a destination wedding ), as well as lunch and site inspection at Relais Tenuta San Domenico, in Caserta . These days were a perfect combination of relaxation and learning. The visits allowed us to see spectacular wedding venues. The following day we had a wine tasting and lunch at La Guardiense, and the night of April 19th marked the Grand Finale of the event with a Gala Dinner at the Grand Hotel Telese. It was a night of emotional goodbyes and reflections on the incredible journey we have experienced.
So, what did you think? Participating in B-Treat Campania for Weddings 2024 was awesome! Wema Global organized an extraordinary event, which not only expanded my professional horizons, but also provided me with an even greater immersion in Italian culture and hospitality.
See you next week,
Simone.
