Hi, everyone! Today I bring you an incredible experience that I had recently. I had the privilege of participating in the 2024 edition of Amour Forums, one of the largest destination wedding events in the world, which this year took place in the beautiful Sardinia, Italy. For those who don’t remember, I have already been to other editions, 2023 in Budapest , 2019 in Vienna and 2022 in Cascais (Portugal), where I was nominated for the “The Best Destination Wedding Planner” award.
The island’s enchanting atmosphere won us over right from the start. The opening ceremony, called Sardinia’s Spell, was held at the impressive Forte Bay Terrazza, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner under a starry sky and, of course, lots of dancing to the sounds of lively DJs. There’s nothing like starting your immersion into the world of weddings in such a magical way! These were days of many meetings, meeting with the best in the world of wedding hotels and professionals from all over the world.
On the second night, we were transported to the heart of local traditions with the Traditionally Yours dinner at La Passiegetta Coperta. Sardinian culture was present in every detail, from the menu to the music, making us feel part of this rich cultural heritage. In fact, bringing local culture to the wedding celebration is what I always recommend to my brides and grooms. It makes the trip even more special and unique.
To end on a high note, the Love Travel Awards ceremony was held in the elegant Cristalli Room at Forte Village, awarding the best destinations and services for weddings. The evening was full of glamour, with cocktails and breathtaking entertainment. I loved meeting the participants and, of course, securing great deals and contacts for Brazilian couples who want an incredible destination wedding.
