Aonde Casar participates in Portugal in Love 2023, an international destination wedding event in the country

Hi guys all right? Today I want to remember with you an incredible trip I took last year. In November 2023, I had the opportunity to participate in the “Portugal in Love 2023” event, organized by WEMA GLOBAL and which brought me delicious moments full of good news for couples who dream of a destination wedding in Portugal . Our accommodation was at the wonderful VidaMar Algarve Hotel, a true paradise by the sea that combined comfort, luxury and impeccable service. Anyone who follows me here has certainly already seen a post about this hotel. I stayed there on other occasions, and you can check it out at this link .

Day 1: Welcome Dinner at VidaMar Hotel

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a wonderful welcome dinner at the VidaMar Hotel itself. The breathtaking gardens and stunning sea views created the perfect setting for our welcome. The menu featured the best of local cuisine, with delicious dishes. It was a great way to start the trip and meet the other participants.

Day 2: Anantara Vilamoura Resort, ARVAD WINE and Monte do Serrinho

On the second day, we had lunch and a guided tour of the Anantara Vilamoura Resort, which I have also been to and which I consider a haven of luxury and sophistication. Anantara Vilamoura stands out for its modern architecture, infinity pools and an internationally renowned golf course. Furthermore, the personalized service and attention to detail make it a great option for a destination wedding .

After lunch, we went for a wine tasting at ARVAD WINE. Located on the slopes of the Arade River, the winery is known for producing wines that capture the essence of the Algarve. The story of ARVAD WINE is fascinating: combining traditional methods with modern technology, they produce wines that reflect the region’s rich winemaking heritage. The tasting was a sensorial journey through the different labels, each one telling a part of the Algarve’s unique history and terroir.

The day ended with dinner at Monte do Serrinho, a charming and welcoming place, which I recommend for a pre-wedding . Monte do Serrinho has a rustic atmosphere, gastronomy with typical Portuguese dishes and a delicious atmosphere for a first event of the trip with your friends and family.

Day 3: Valuable Connections

The third day was dedicated to B2B meetings, where we had the opportunity to get to know Portugal’s wedding professionals, venues and suppliers better. It was an intense and extremely productive day, full of presentations and exchanges of ideas. I met incredible companies offering wonderful services, from event organizers to florists and photographers. These meetings not only expand my network of contacts in Portugal, but also open up an even greater range of possibilities for Brazilian couples who dream of having a destination wedding in Portugal.

It was great to participate in “Portugal in Love 2023”. I return to Brazil full of good connections and innovative ideas for weddings. Portugal, with its natural beauty, cultural richness and high-quality services, is one of my favorite destination wedding destinations for Brazilians. I can’t wait to share these discoveries with the bride and groom and help them make their dreams a reality.

So, what did you think? I want to know, tell me!

See you next week,

Simone.
