Hi guys all right? Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful vacation and that 2024 starts with only good things for you . And I, of course, want to bring more information to newlyweds who dream of saying the long-awaited yes to the world. Destination wedding is my passion and I am always looking for new opportunities and knowledge for you. And today, I want to talk about the impeccable Amour Forums of 2023, an incredible event that I have had the opportunity to participate in in other years and, last year, it took place in Budapest. They were incredible days, which I want to share with you.

I arrived in Budapest, the pearl of the Danube, the day before the start of Amour Forums , which was great! I was able to immerse myself in a palette of bright colors and enchanting stories throughout the city. The cobblestone streets filled with imposing architecture enveloped me as I lost myself in the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Budapest is really special and worth adding to your itinerary. Alongside my dear friend Cristina Verger, we visited several incredible places, such as the Opera House, the Academy of Music, Fisherman’s Bastion, the Hungarian Parliament, Buda Castle, the beautiful New York Café, among others.
On the first day of the event, we were received with a welcome cocktail at the Hotel Corinthia , a delicious night, where I was able to meet friends and long-time wedding planners and, of course, learn some news about the wedding and romantic travel market around the world. I was also able to share Brazilian perceptions on these topics, which, for them, is super important. The Brazilian market is one of the favorites when it comes to destination weddings .
The second day of the event was intense and full of meetings, where we were able to meet major hotel brands and discuss options for each country – in my case, good options for Brazilian couples. After all the meetings we had with the hotels, I still had a boat trip along the majestic Danube River. Budapest’s stunning landscape revealed itself from a completely new perspective as we exchanged ideas and were inspired by the beauty of the riverbanks. It’s amazing how Budapest surprises you in so many ways. Thinking about destination wedding , the city is incredible. There’s no way your guests won’t be completely in love! The evening brought with it a unique culinary adventure at dinner at The Fisherman’s Bastion . The stunning view of the illuminated city was the perfect setting for a meal that became a delight for all the senses.
On the third and final day of the event, which I already miss, we had the wonderful Gala Dinner at the Royal Riding Hall, located in Buda Castle . The majestic setting added a touch of royalty to the evening, providing everyone in attendance the perfect opportunity to interact, share ideas and create meaningful connections. The Gala Dinner was a celebration of exquisite aromas and flavors, combining the sophistication of the place with dishes that pleased both the palate and the eyes.
To end the trip with a flourish, I visited the magnificent Hotel Anantara Budapest, immersed in elegance and comfort, followed by a stop at the iconic New York Cafe, on the first floor of the hotel, where the nostalgic atmosphere and classic elegance merged into a memorable experience.
So, what did you think?
If you want more information and details about the hotels and the trip, write to me and I’ll be happy to share!
See you next week,
Simone.
