Hi guys all right? After the many posts about Marrakesh and the Famtrip I did in Colombia, it was time to land in my beloved Italy, where I had two beautiful weddings and also got to know new spaces for destination weddings there. For this first post, I selected the destination wedding of dear Karen and André, in Siena, Tuscany .
Karen and André are another sweetheart couple who had their big day postponed due to the pandemic . However, even with so many uncertainties, I didn’t let the dream of the big day die in them. As I always say, getting married is a rite of passage, it needs to be fulfilled. Otherwise, you will always have that gap in your love story. Trust me, I have ex-boyfriends who gave up celebrating and send me regretful messages. And Karen and André resisted for three long years until the wedding arrived . And I was very happy with the words of affection that the bride dedicated to me.“For three years I was able to share moments of tenderness, tension and reciprocity with Simone. When my then husband and I decided to get married, we decided that it would be a unique moment and that it would be kept forever in our memories and also of our guests. We chose Simone to help us make this dream come true and how well we chose. She was always helpful, willing and ready to listen to us, even if it was just to hear a complaint lol (poor Simone in this pandemic moment). We spend almost a lifetime scheduling, rescheduling, choosing, raising prices, and Simone always has a smile on her face, solving everything. We were very happy and grateful for having made our dream so beautiful and so warm with love.🇧🇷 We definitely chose the right consultant. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much.”
Karen and André decided on a destination wedding with just their immediate family, which was very special and emotional. They chose Fattoria La Selva, a charming, century-old, typically Tuscan property, where they stayed for five days and where we had a pre-wedding dinner with pizza and wine over a delicious dinner. In the middle of a breathtaking green landscape, the Italian countryside and the stone house became the setting for this beloved couple to exchange their vows. And speaking of votes, we had the moving words of Carla Goes, a celebrant with whom I really enjoy working. The dinner was decorated by The Elisabeth Agency and Shining Flowers Italy, who set up a typical Italian community table. I loved the centerpiece, with a mix of vases and enchanting flowers, such as rose, protea and lion’s mouth. Flowers that were also part of the bouquet and cake decoration.
Everything flawless, but nothing compared to the beauty of these dear bride and groom. Karen looked like a doll. I loved that she opted for a half-up hairstyle , which I think goes very well with this Tuscan country aesthetic. The dress with 3D appliqués of flowers and rhinestone embroidery by Atelier Nina Marinho was romantic and delicate . The perfect tulle skirt for twirling around and around in the Tuscan sunset , one of the most beautiful in Europe. And speaking of sunsets, the bride and groom’s rehearsal between the parreias was incredible. Sam Sacramento, my friend and beloved photographer, manages to surprise me every time. Frame-worthy photos. The party took place in the Fattoria garden and went into the night to the sound of Dj Ettore Raso and violinist Alex Golini, who entertained everyone with a fun playlist that mixed Italian songs, international hits and, of course, some Brazilian classics that are part of the bride and groom’s history.
Wassup what did you think? I hope you enjoyed it and what their wedding inspires you. But before I finish, I would like to give a special thanks to Villa Le Farnete, who received me with great affection in the first days of my trip.
See you next week,
Simone
