With the advancement of vaccination , the world begins to reopen its borders for tourism. As I waited for this day. So important is traveling and celebrating. The selection I will share here today came out at the DWP Insider (Destination Wedding Planner Congress, of which I have been part for years and I am proud to be the Brazilian representative) . Remembering that the new visa is the vaccine. As soon as you are vaccinated and with the deadlines up to date, pack your bags and bon voyage , as the French say!
Let’s go to the list, because I’m sure you bridesmaids are anxious to know where you can get married, right?
GREECE
From May 14, 2021, my beloved Greece, which is on my list of favorite destinations for elopement wedding, reopens for foreign tourists. For the vaccinated, everything is fine and for those who are not vaccinated, PCR is mandatory 72 hours in advance.
FRANCE
The city of light is preparing for the reopening, which is scheduled to happen on June 9, as long as the tourist presents a vaccination card and a negative test. And the good news for couples who want to do destination wedding: events for up to 5,000 people will be released (it’s not the case for a wedding, but if you want to go to a show, here’s the tip!)
MALDIVES
The dream honeymoon is guaranteed! The number one destination for honeymooners, Maldives, already has its borders open. The Maldives received the “Travel Safe” seal from the World Travel and Tourism Council and have been attracting many tourists ever since.
SEYCHELLES
There are only a few days left before the reopening of the paradise called Seychelles. Who does not know the archipelago, I advise to put on the radar. Too beautiful! It was supposed to be open, but the government went back to guarantee the largest number of the vaccinated population.
SPAIN
Make a note in the agenda: June is the month when you will be able to pack your bags and run to Madrid, Barcelona, Ibiza … The European summer in Spanish lands is more than guaranteed. Noivinhas, Spain is famous for its wonderful stylists, hurry up! Currently, visitors to Spain will not face mandatory quarantine, but will have to go through three ‘health checkpoints’: an information form, a temperature check and a visual inspection. Beginning in November, all travelers from certain ‘high-risk areas’, such as Brazil, are also expected to have a negative test result in the last 72 hours.
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
Considered one of the safest destinations to travel at the moment, the United Arab Emirates are ready to welcome the bride and groom. And as the destination is famous for luxury, an elopement wedding there will be sensational and with everything that the bride and groom deserve after waiting so long.
ISRAEL
With 60% of the population fully vaccinated, Israel eases the entry of tourists from May 23, right there. Vaccinated travelers will be most welcome!
MEXICO
ARRIBA! Mexico, at the moment, is one of the best options. Without restrictions, quarantine and limits for tourists, the country guarantees that it is ready to receive everyone, literally.
THAILAND
Thailand is planning a gradual reopening of its country. There are three phases: Phuket is the first to suspend quarantine from July 1st. Krabi, Phang Nga, Surat Thani (Ko Samui), Chon Buri (Pattaya) and Chiang Mai are scheduled to open on October 1st.
CROATIA
In Croatia, the bride and groom do not need to quarantine or test negative. Just land in the country 14 days after the second dose of the vaccine, or the Johnson & Johnson single dose vaccine. For “Game of Thrones” fans, the news fell like a glove!
BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
Starting next Saturday, May 15, newlyweds can land in this paradise that gathers 60 beautiful and untouched islands in the Caribbean.
Did you like the news? I loved!!!
Kisses and even closer!
Simone.
