Hi everyone, how are you? Back to the posts about my FAMTRIP organized by AUTÊNTICO HOTELS, today I want to introduce you to the wonderful Lanthia Resort for a destination wedding in Italy. I had the privilege of visiting the hotel, a charming retreat located in the mountainous region of Sardinia, Italy. Located in an area that is part of one of the five Blue Zones in the world — regions known for being home to populations with high longevity — the Lanthia Resort combines the best of nature, local tradition and contemporary comfort.
Recently renovated, Lanthia Resort stands out for its architecture that harmonizes with the surrounding landscape. Surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation and with a serene atmosphere, the hotel offers an incredible experience for newlyweds and guests. Just a few steps from the sea, the resort connects to the beach through a tunnel that passes under the road, creating a safe and private access. The beach, with white sands and crystal clear waters, offers a perfect contrast with the mountains that frame the horizon, creating unique settings for relaxation or special celebrations. The accommodations, carefully decorated, reflect the rustic charm of Sardinia, combining natural materials such as wood and stone with modern touches that ensure comfort. Each room has its own personality, reinforcing the feeling of exclusivity for guests.
One of the most memorable experiences of our visit to Lanthia Resort was trekking through the region’s mountains. The hike revealed stunning landscapes, with panoramic views that alternate between mountains and the sea in the background. The rich flora and fauna are a must for adventurous couples. At the top of one of the mountains, we had the pleasure of dining at a rustic restaurant that welcomes mountaineers from all over the world. The menu, prepared by the owners themselves, featured authentic local dishes, full of flavor and history. Another experience we had was a visit and tasting at Tenute Perda Rubia, a winery that partners with the hotel. It was a great experience.
Scenarios for the big day
I can imagine an intimate ceremony with the sea as a backdrop, or a reception dinner in one of the hotel’s well-kept gardens, under the starry Sardinian sky. The resort’s spaces allow for a variety of settings, from celebrations on the beach to more sophisticated events in elegant indoor rooms. In addition, the proximity of the mountains offers the possibility of including unique experiences, such as photo shoots in natural settings or pre-wedding events with outdoor activities. One suggestion I would make in particular would be to organize a private dinner in the mountain restaurant, which is an authentic and unforgettable experience for the couple and their guests. A spa day is also always a surprise and is a great way for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready for the big day.
